Toronto Raptors: Top 20 No. 13 overall picks in NBA Draft history

16. Jim McMillan (1970)
Fans of the old Buffalo Braves (the Los Angeles Clippers nowadays) might remember McMillan as one of their best wing players, but those older Lakers fans out there will regale you with tales of McMillan playing a role on the 1972 champions that helped Wilt Chamberlain and Jerry West get a ring.
McMillan averaged 17.5 points and 6.2 rebounds per game between 1972 and 1976. While he flamed out quickly after his hot streak, McMillan’s peak was very impressive for a player that continuously showed the league he was worthy of respect.
15. Derek Anderson (1997)
Anderson was a valuable player on some very good Blazers teams, averaging 12.0 points per game and establishing himself as one of the best shooters on the team. Anderson maintained that points per game average and his 34% 3-point success rate throughout his 11-year career.
Anderson is a player that would have had an even better career if he played in an area where his shooting and high-flying nature were improved upon and celebrated. Instead, he put forth a decade of solid play as a role player on teams all across the NBA in the early parts of the millennium.
