12. Don Kojis (1961)

Kojis did not become a consistent starter until he was 28 years old, and his prime very swiftly ended after his age-33 season. In that span of time, however, Kojis was such an impressive scorer that he helped the Rockets franchise gain some relevance in their early stages.

Kojis averaged 21.2 points and 9.9 rebounds per game in his two All-Star seasons with the then-San Diego Rockets. His peak was extremely impressive, and he was regarded as an above-average shooter as a 6-5 wing. In many ways, Kojis was a player who was ahead of his time.

11. Dale Davis (1991)

Davis played in the NBA for so long that he was teammates with Detlef Schrempf in Indiana and 19-year-old Amir Johnson in Detroit. You don’t have a career that long without a very storied career with tons of stops on teams that made noise in the postseason.

In his 16-season career, Davis averaged 7.9 rebounds per game and made it to an All-Star game. Davis did his best work for the best teams, as he helped the Pacers make it to the Finals against the Shaq-Kobe Lakers while also teaming with Anderson on those quality Portland teams.
