8. Jalen Rose (1994)

Rose’s NBA career is often overlooked due to how often he moved around and the fact that his best offensive seasons came on teams near the bottom of the standings. Underrate Rose at your own peril, as he had a career worth discussing for a boatload of teams.

Rose’s 14.3 points per game came in a very lengthy, winding career. Few players can claim to have been a part of those terrific early 2000s Pacers teams, the post-Michael Jordan Bulls, and the Vince Carter Raptors, all while scoring and playing multiple positions with aplomb.

7. Corey Maggette (1999)

Maggette was a hooper, plain and simple. Maggette, like Rose, had the unfortunate distinction of playing the best years of his career with some teams that never went anywhere (in his case, those 2000s Clippers). As a scorer, Maggette was more than worth a No. 15 pick.

Maggette averaged 16.0 points per game in his career, but brought that up to 20.1 points per game in his final five seasons with the Clippers. While his mid-range game is not in vogue right now, watching Maggette slice up defenders and drain a smooth jumper from 18 feet was pure artwork.
