1. Jaylen Brown, Boston Celtics

Is Brown an unrealistic trade target? Slightly. Did he look like someone one step away from playing in Turkmenistan during his horrid Game 7 against the Heat? Absolutely. None of that changes the fact that he should be at or near the top of their trade target list.

While Brown is due a ton of money in the upcoming seasons, why couldn’t a Big Three of Brown, one of either Anunoby or Siakam, and Scottie Barnes be a problem in the Eastern Conference? If Brown improves his ball handling, he could be given a major second wind as he tries to thrive away from Jayson Tatum.

Will Jaylen Brown join the Toronto Raptors?

Brown is going to be a major all-in move by this team, but Ujiri has been an aggressive GM on the trade market when he identifies a player that fits what he wants to do. How many players across the league are both tradeable and a player who fits what Toronto needs from their wings?

Tatum and Brown will be competitive no matter what, but this season may have some in Boston wondering if this group can get over the hump as currently constructed. As a result, Brown might be able to get a chance to prove himself while turning the Raptors totally around.
