Ron Harper Jr. – Toronto Raptors

The Raptors inked Ron Harper Jr. to a two-way deal quickly after he went undrafted. Although he played in just nine games for the Raptors, Harper showed signs of potential with the Raptors 905 of the G-League, having averaged 17.1 points, 5.3 rebounds, and 3.5 assists per game.

He’s got plenty of potential, and the Raptors should aim to develop him into a rotational player by keeping him around in the G-League or by bringing him onto the actual team full-time.

Will Dalano Banton return to the Toronto Raptors?

Dalano Banton – Toronto Raptors

Banton hasn’t seen a prominent role throughout his first two years with the Raptors, and the former second-round pick will now hit restricted free agency. That means the Raptors are able to match any offer made his way.

Teams likely will not be banging down the door to sign Banton, but perhaps the Raptors could sign him to a team-friendly deal to continue their partnership in 2023-24. Banton has the skill set to be an intriguing player in this league, and at 23 years old, he’s got room to grow.

If the Raptors lose their starting point guard, who is also on this list, perhaps it could open the door for Banton to get some more meaningful minutes next season.
