2. Moses Brown

Basketball is amazing because a 5-8 skinny rail of a point guard and a 7-2, 245-pound goliath of a center both have the same chance of getting NBA rotation minutes. The Raptors helped journeymen get their careers back on track in the past, and Brown could be their next project.

While he did average 5.5 points and 5.2 rebounds per game in the pros, many of Brown’s minutes came in garbage time. While he has 128 NBA games under his belt already, Brown has already suited up for six different teams. Will he get some attention finally?

Moses Brown could stick with the Toronto Raptors.

Brown came out of UCLA as a very raw player, and he moved teams so frequently that it was next to impossible for him to get tons of developmental work done on him. The Raptors, notoriously patient with players they view are worth their time, could give him some stability.

With Christian Koloko sitting Summer League out due to a respiratory issue and only one other true center on the roster, expect Brown to get tons of minutes. He’s shown that he can be an NBA backup, but the Raptors need to make sure they are willing to work with him.
