1. Gradey Dick

Much like it was when Scottie Barnes made his Raptors debut in Vegas, all eyes will be on Dick when he puts on Raptors red for the first time. An elite shooter with solid verticality, Toronto will likely give Dick every opportunity to show what he is made of.

Summer League might actually be a good time for Dick to experiment. Everyone knows he can shoot and dunk, but he could show just how far he has come as a defender, passer, and playmaker against a handful of players that figure to be on professional teams in the future.

The Toronto Raptors will lean on Gradey Dick.

Dick will likely be one of the first guys off the bench for Toronto this season, and he will likely be the only first-round pick the Raptors will use in a three-year span starting last year and ending after 2024. That is a ton of pressure, but he handled the pressure at Kansas reasonably well.

That first rim-rattling dunk or contested 3-pointer will be a moment of pure joy that all Raptors fans can share in after what has become a very taxing series of months and weeks right up against one another. Dick could help shift the vibes in Toronto.
