1. Hamidou Diallo

Diallo has had the misfortune of bouncing between a few different teams in the NBA, few of which have given him a chance to really compete on the highest stage. More of Diallo’s seasons have been spent on bad tanking teams rather than teams with a shot at the postseason.

After the Thunder started to turn downwards in his third season, he was sent to the Pistons. In his career, however, Diallo has averaged 8.6 points and 3.8 rebounds per game while making just under half of his shots. It should not be forgotten that he is one of the best jumpers and dunkers in the league.

Hamidou Diallo could help the Toronto Raptors.

With a 6-11 wingspan at 6-5, Diallo’s defensive skills will likely be interesting for a front office that has placed as much of a premium on wingspan as any team in the league. Darko Rajakovic optimists will likely point to Diallo as a player who could benefit from his teachings.

The Raptors gave former No. 4 pick Josh Jackson, who has had a similar career trajectory and style of play, a chance to make the roster, and he made quite a positive impression on this fanbase in his brief stint. Diallo could be un upgraded version who sneaks onto the roster.
