4. 2023-24 City Edition Jersey

If the fanbase wasn’t so beaten down by the same colors every year, this jersey would stand out as one of the few gems in a lackluster 2023 class. This look gets some major momentum in its favor by way of “Toronto” emblazoned across the front and the 90s-like lightning bolt pinstripes.

Going with solid gold shorts and jerseys is a bold choice, but the black accents on the side help offset it. While the general well of ideas for these colors is running dry, Toronto may have accidentally struck gold when they came up with this design.

3. 2018-19 City Edition Jersey

These are identical to the 2017-18 jerseys that will come up a bit later on this list, only this one has a white base instead of a black one. Whichever one you like better will come down to a matter of personal aesthetic preference, as Toronto decided not to reinvent the wheel in their title-winning season.

After trying to come up with a white alternate jersey that featured Drake’s gold in a prominent way, the Raptors found an ideal balance with his look. The chevron is here to stay, as the marketing and branding whizzes at MLSE seem to have fallen in love with it.
