Jonathan Mogbo was a Zero

We don't want to beat the same drum once again, but Jonathan Mogbo continues to have the same type of game each time out. He puts up a few stats, is a good rebounder, and has absolutely no offensive game to speak of and is overwhelmed by the speed of the NBA game.

Against the Brooklyn Nets he was 0-for-3 from the floor, had five rebounds and two assists, and paired them with two turnovers and two fouls. He seemed scared to attack the basket, instead settling for floaters that had no chance as they shakily arced over defenders. He's nowhere near ready for NBA minutes despite the Raptors' need for someone to play at forward.

Ochai Agbaji was a Hero

A month ago it seemed likely that Ochai Agbaji would be out of the Raptors' rotation to start the season; now he is in line to start on Opening Night, and has an extremely strong preseason performance to justify it.

With Bruce Brown and RJ Barrett out, Agbaji is by far the team's best wing defender. He plays with strength and is not easily moved off of his spot, and he can switch as needed onto differing types of players.

What has been so impressive the last few games, and was once more in Brooklyn, is Agbaji's offensive game. On Friday night he shot 6-for-11 from the field, including a perfect 5-for-5 from 2-point range, and pitched in six rebounds, two assists and a +18 plus/minus.

Agbaji will now get his fourth year option picked up, and he has a chance to hang around in the league for a very long time.
