2. OG Anunoby impressing

Raptors fans have been shouting about Anunoby for the better part of the last half-decade, and it appears as though some of their salvos are finally starting to break through into the wider NBA consciousness. Anunoby's individual play has been just about everything Toronto could have hoped for.

On a team that is currently lacking in on-ball perimeter defenders and above-average 3-point shooters, Anunoby has gone way past elite in both those areas. When he isn't on his game, it becomes painfully obvious that Toronto is unable to execute a potent offensive or stifling defensive gameplan.

OG Anunoby keeps showing out for the Toronto Raptors.

Trade rumors around Anunoby have died down lately, with it looking more like than ever that a Pascal Siakam swap could happen. This move would give the Raptors a big return while also providing them with more available funds they can use to sign Anunoby on the free agent market.

The Raptors should commit to Anunoby, building a core around Barnes, OG, whatever they can get in a Siakam trade, and any future first-round picks. That could be the secret recipe that gets the Raptors out of the doldrums and back into the spotlight.
