2. Orlando Magic

Orlando started off incredibly hot this season, but their young team, with some offensive limitations, is starting to hit a wall. The Magic rank as the worst 3-point shooting team in the league, with the lowly Grizzlies just a few percentage points ahead of them. Trent would help them in a big way.

Their commitment to Cole Anthony and the defensive improvement of Jalen Suggs might make them untouchable, but the Raptors might be able to still grab a potential impact playmaker out of this deal along with some draft compensation. Perhaps either Wendell Carter Jr. or Goga Bitadze could find themselves in the rumor mill?

The Orlando Magic need a shooter like Gary Trent Jr.

While some might view Orlando as a more patient team that is ahead of schedule in the rebuild, they also would be foolish to continue to forge ahead with a bench that is simultaneously crowded and heading towards an eventual breakup once it becomes too financially troublesome to keep them together.

The Magic already have their franchise player in Paolo Banchero and a collection of role players doing their thing in Suggs and Franz Wagner. Paying Trent and ditching some of their less stellar bench players would take an average offense and shoot them up into the higher echelon of the Eastern Conference.
