No team in the league has undergone such drastic changes over the last year as the Toronto Raptors. Seven of their nine rotation players from last year's season opener are on new teams, including stars in Pascal Siakam and OG Anunoby. It was a full roster makeover.

Things are not necessarily done, either. Bruce Brown is being actively shopped, while players like Kelly Olynyk and Ochai Agbaji are prime candidates to be moved. As Toronto sorts through its options on the trade market, most of the roster could be in play depending on the return package.

Which players are definitely not being traded? It's not an extremely long list, but it's worth exploring to know who is a lock to be on this team a year from now. We begin with the centerpiece of the entire roster and the cornerstone of Toronto's future.

No. 1: Scottie Barnes

The Raptors made a somewhat bold move in 2021, passing on consensus top-4 prospect Jalen Suggs and exciting Australian guard Josh Giddey to select Scottie Barnes. That move has paid off, as Barnes has grown into an accomplished playmaking forward who excels on both ends of the court.

The Raptors just handed Barnes a maximum contract extension and are building the roster around him. There is essentially a zero percent chance he is traded anytime soon, and certainly not in the next year, making him the most untouchable player on the roster.
