The Toronto Raptors don't have the same team they used to have.

In fact, only one player remains from the 2019 Championship roster, Chris Boucher -- and he barely played in the run to that title, which was own just five years ago. The rest of the roster has been turned completely over, not to mention the way the roster was changed to build that title-winning group.

That means the NBA is filled with players who once suited up in the 905 and now play for other teams. While many of the players who once played for the Raptors are retired, a lot of them still play and are young enough to potentially play well in their new homes.

Which former Raptors are thriving in new locations, and which alumni have fallen flat on their faces away from Toronto? Let's look at a few of each and track them around the NBA.

Thriving: Pascal Siakam

Pascal Siakam was always an unusual star player, someone who took an atypical path to being a star and was always best cast on winning teams who needed a co-star. He could fill up the box score as the top option, but he is not a pure bucket-getter who was going to do his best work trying to elevate a mediocre team.

The Raptors traded Siakam to the Indiana Pacers just last season and he thrived upon arriving there. Being back on a winning team suited him extremely well, as did the increased spacing of playing next to a stretch-5 for the first time in a long time. He and Tyrese Haliburton led the Pacers not only into the playoffs, but all the way to the Eastern Conference Finals. Siakam then landed a near-max contract, a huge payday for a player no one thought would be come a star.
