Breaking down the best prop bets for the Toronto Raptors-Denver Nuggets matchup in the NBA on Monday.

The Toronto Raptors are massive underdogs on Monday night against the Denver Nuggets, but that doesn’t mean we can’t bet on them in the prop market.

With Scottie Barnes and Jakob Poeltl out of the lineup, the Raptors have leaned on two guards to really pick up the slack on offense.

Here’s how I’m betting on both players on Monday:

Raptors vs. Nuggets best NBA prop bets

  • Gary Trent Jr. OVER 2.5 3-pointers made
  • Immanuel Quickley OVER 12.5 rebounds and assists

Gary Trent Jr. OVER 2.5 3-pointers made

Over his last four games, Gary Trent Jr. has cleared this prop in every matchup, shooting a combined 15-for-41 from beyond the arc. While the percentage isn’t terrific, Trent Jr. has taken double-digit 3-pointers in three straight games.

Denver does allow the second-fewest made 3-pointers this season, but it’s hard to fade Trent Jr. with that kind of volume. On the season, the Duke product is shooting 40.2 percent from beyond the arc, so it’s reasonable to think that if he takes 10 or more shots from deep, he’s at least going to hit three or four of them.

With RJ Barrett (illness) questionable, Trent Jr. is a must bet with a major role looking likely on Monday.

Immanuel Quickley OVER 12.5 rebounds and assists

This prop did not hit in Immanuel Quickley’s last game, as he finished with 10 rebounds and assists, but he had cleared it in five straight games before that.

Over his last six contests, Quickley is averaging 10.5 assists and 6.0 rebounds per game. He’s picked up at least seven dimes in every one of those games and at least five rebounds in five of those six matchups.

Quickley should be in line for a lot of minutes for Toronto given the team’s injuries, and he’s proven to be a stat-sheet stuffer since Barnes went out with a fractured hand.

The other key in this prop: Quickley is averaging 16.2 potential assists and 9.2 rebound chances over this six-game stretch. He should have another big game tonight.
