The Raptors face a familiar face in Pascal Siakam when the Pacers come to Toronto on Wednesday night in the final game of the unofficial first half of the NBA regular season.

Toronto will look to bounce back after dropping two straight games by more than 20 points to the Cavaliers and Spurs against the Pacers, who have a propensity to struggle on the defensive end.

Can the Pacers be just what a slumping Raptors offense needed? Let's break it all down with our full betting preview:

Pacers vs. Raptors Key Players to Watch

Pacers

Pascal Siakam: Siakam is set to face his former team on Wednesday ahead of the All-Star break. The former All-Star has been putting up similar number with the Pacers, averaging 21 points per game and nearly seven rebounds with four assists. Most importantly he is shooting 41% from beyond the arc, up from 31% in Toronto this season.

Raptors

Scottie Barnes: Barnes is playing solid ball as the No. 1 option of the Raptors. His overall numbers are down, but under the hood there is tangible development. In seven February games, he is shooting 34% despite getting more attention than ever before while posting a 18/7/7 stat line.

Pacers vs. Raptors Prediction and Pick

The Raptors are in bad form in February, posting the league's worst net rating of -16.4 in the last seven games, per NBA.com. However, I believe the team can get out of its offensive rut against the team's former franchise cornerstone and a Pacers team that is simply league average in points allowed per 100 possessions in that same timeframe. This is a step up for the Pacers, who are 26th across the balance of the season.

Indiana plays at the league's second fastest tempo, which will help jumpstart the Raptors offense, which has been bogged down by its inability to execute in the halfcourt. I believe the frenetic pace at which the Pacers play will lead to a big outing from Barnes and Immanuel Quickley and the team can play a more transition-oriented brand of basketball.

The Pacers will get its points, but I believe the Raptors are due for an up-swing in offensive production after failing to break 100 in the last two games.

I'll go over on Wednesday night.
