OG Anunoby was the most coveted player to change teams during last season, a jumbo wing who could shoot on offense, rebound the basketball and defend as well as anyone in the league. That type of player fit on any roster and every contender in the league would have loved to trade for him.

Who did the Toronto Raptors eventually trade him for? Immanuel Quickley, a point guard stuck behind Jalen Brunson but who balled out whenever given significant minutes. The Raptors made a bet that Quickley would grow into a star with his own backcourt to run, and followed up that bet with a lucrative five-year, $162.5 million contract.

Was that contract an overpay, as some NBA analysts believe? Or was it a steal to land a future All-Star at something less than the max? To answer this question, it's important to understand where Quickley stands among his peers. Where does he rank among the other point guards in the league?

We begin with Tier 7, those point guards who may be starting but it would be worth finding a better option as soon as possible.
