3. Memphis Grizzlies
The Grizzlies' ship has sunk this season, as Ja Morant is out for the year and Marcus Smart is hurt again. However, Memphis could bounce back next year if they add Siakam, giving them a starting lineup consisting of Pascal, Morant, Desmond Bane, and Jaren Jackson Jr. in a perfect world.
The Grizzlies might be willing to move some noteworthy names to get Siakam, including sharpshooter Luke Kennard, young forward David Roddy, and stretch big man Santi Aldama. Memphis has enough draft picks to entice Ujiri and the Raptors' front office.
The Memphis Grizzlies could trade for Pascal Siakam.
The Grizzlies have a few extra first-round picks to throw around in the name of improving the team, and the Raptors are likely well aware of the fact. After getting players above picks in the Anunoby deal, Toronto might try to recoup draft choices in this hypothetical swap.
With Bane and Jackson having the best seasons of their career and the promise of Smart and Morant next year, a Siakam extension could be a way for a Grizzlies team that will never be a marquee free agent destination to assert themselves as a possible contender in the West.
