Austin Green is the editor of Raptors Rapture. He is also a journalism major at the University of Montana and an avid basketball junkie. Once upon a time, he was going to be the best point guard the NBA had ever seen–until he realized he was a 5’9″ white guy. Since then, he has dedicated himself to writing about the sport he loves.
Brian Boake is a (former) undersized centre, who loves hoops and was thrilled when the NBA came to Toronto. He and his wife, who’s also a knowledgeable and enthusiastic fan, have been season ticket holders since day one. They endured the Skydome years, when both the facility & the team were minor league. Now they enjoy the Air Canada Centre, an infinitely better venue, and have hope for the future of the Raps.
Casey Sherman was raised in the rough-and-tumble ghetto that is west-side Vancouver, and he has been a Raptors fan for years and years. Well, two years, plus maybe a couple of indifferent ones where he watched just because theirs were the only games consistently televised in Canada. An avid Rudy Gay advocate and hater of all things Jay Triano, Casey enjoys playing basketball just as much as watching and writing about it. However, his playing style, basically modeled after Mickael Pietrus (and not the Orlando Magic Mickael Pietrus), might not be helping him catch the eye of any scouts.
