Portland Trailblazers 22-6
Last week: 4-0
Rip City is loving life right now and the Trailblazers have been the main reason. Behind Damian Lillard and LaMarcus Aldridge they have taken the NBA by storm and have been dominating. LA is leading the team in scoring and rebound with 22.8 ppg and 10.7 boards a game. Lillard is not far behind averaging 21.4 ppg while dropping 6.2 assist. Under the radar free agents Chris Kaman and Steve Blake have helped provide a punch off the bench.
It will be interesting to see their number three defence in the league does without Robin Lopez as he is out with a hand injury. They have a “next man up” mentality so I’m sure whoever steps in will do the job for this team. The West is a place where Portland can’t afford to lose games.
