Fan Expo Canada – 5 players who dressed up like Toronto Raptors
By Chris Mckee
Aleksandar Radojevic 1999-2000
The Raptors drafted the 7-foot-3 Radojevic with the 12th overall pick in the 1999 NBA draft. No really they did.
He was deemed ineligible to play for Ohio State after it was said that he had received improper benefits (cash). Radojevic ended up playing two years of junior college basketball and the Raptors scouting staff felt that he could make the jump from JUCO straight to the NBA.
With draft picks and scouting like this it’s a wonder that the Raptors franchise didn’t end up moving to Memphis instead of the Vancouver Grizzlies.
Radojevic ended up playing in just three games for the Raptors where he averaged 2.3 points per game.
