10 greatest moments in Raptors history
By Brian Boake
When I started this post, I knew my biggest issue would be which of Air Canada Carter’s amazing moments should be selected for the franchise Top Ten. He won the Rookie of the Year award in 1999. He poured in 50 points in Game 3 of that ill-fated series with Philadelphia.
But I decided his world-changing moment was at the All-Star game in which there were six competitors for the Slam Dunk award. As it turned out, there was Vince and everyone else. I doubt there will ever be a moment which creates more Raptors fans than this one.
That’s Air Canada Carter – still in the NBA, and still the most important player to ever play for the Raptors.
