Lucas Nogueira

Lucas Nogueira is a talented player, but not quite talented enough to crack the Raptors rotation. In today’s NBA, teams don’t need three centers and with Jakob Poeltl and Jonas Valanciunas securely ahead of him on the roster, its more likely than not we will see the team part ways with “Bebe” this offseason as he enters restricted free agency.

Nogueira does have a chance to return if either Poeltl or JV are traded, but as you will see, neither of those scenarios are very likely.

Chance of returning – 20 percent

Norman Powell

After a “lame duck” season, most Raptors fans would be happy to move on from Norman Powell. However, selling low on a young, talented, player could prove costly down the line.

With a contract of $8 million per year, Toronto will need to attach an asset in any trade involving Powell, unless they are willing to take back serious money in return.

Perhaps Toronto will need to trade Powell in order to make room for Fred VanVleet, but if possible, they should look to make deals elsewhere.

Chance of returning – 70 percent
