Toronto at Sacramento

Some nights you got it. Some nights you don’t.

The Toronto Raptors certainly didn’t have “it” Wednesday night but still managed to hang on for the 114-105 win.

The Raptors looked sluggish and slow and struggled to match Sacramento’s energy, losing nearly every statistical category except rebounding, which ironically has been a low-point this season for the high-flying Raptors.

"“We were lucky to come out with this one,” said Danny Green after the game. “You look up and down the line, the only thing we beat them in was rebounding. That’s a good sign for us.”"

Kawhi Leonard returned to action after two games, scoring 25 and adding 11 rebounds including a critical three in the fourth to end a Kings run.

And, as usual, Leonard was pesky and annoying on defense, creating havoc for the Kings, including this full-court trap which led to an OG steal and bucket.

Kyle Lowry played strong once again, though he failed to make it ten consecutive games with 10 assists or more, finishing with 16 points and only eight assists.

Pascal Siakam and Serge Ibaka continued their great stretches for the Raptors contributing on both ends. Siakam finished with 21 points while Ibaka scored 14 points with 14 rebounds.

While the game itself was certainly not remarkable, the Raptors are finding ways to win.

The Raptors finished the western road trip with a 4-0 record, beating up on teams they should have. The team will return home very happy with the best record in the league at 11-1.
