Series prediction

Mark Birdsell:

Raptors win the series in five. The Magic will likely take game 3 or 4 back in Orlando, with the Raptors closing out the series in a game five at home. I expect the 76ers/Nets series to go seven games, which should give the Raptors a few days off before the second round starts.

Mike Bossetti:

I believe it’s a clean sweep. The Magic just don’t have the offensive firepower to give the Raptors a real fight. Perhaps they catch fire from three and win a game or two, but other than that, it’s hard to imagine them scoring enough to win.

With Toronto fully engaged for one of the only times all season, expect their defense to come out with a fire. This series could get ugly, fast.

Jordan Skuse:

Raptors in five (Magic eke out a win at home, but that’ll be it.)

Raju Byfield:

The Toronto Raptors should take no more than five games to close out this series Tthe Magic are a talented team who can pull one out if the Raps aren’t at the top of their game. However, they’re not good enough to give the Raptors a serious run for their money.

With the Magic making the playoffs for the first time since they traded Dwight Howard, I expect the Magic to be a tough out in game three. Barring a significant injury, the Raptors should win the series in five.
