Trash-talk Toronto Raptors: Ringless Valanciunas, Wright and Miles

Welcome back to Trash-talk: A Toronto Raptors gossip column. Here we will discuss everything about the Toronto Raptors except for the actual game of basketball.

The Toronto Raptors capped off a road trip with a 3-2 record. The two losses sting, but given the injuries, the wins surely outweigh the losses. Now they head back home as the team is beginning to jell.

Yet, this isn’t a column to discuss anything about the Toronto Raptors’ on-court production. In fact, it is a column that wants to dive deep into the happenings outside of the game of basketball.  This could mean having hilarious media scrums or on-court gaffes. Lately, it seems we’ve been getting a lot of humor from Nick Nurse as he continues his onslaught of speaking his mind.

For coverage of the game, my colleagues have diligently put together grades, recaps, and even some worries about the Raptors’ performances over the course of the week. And, they will continue to do so as the season bears on.

It was relatively quiet as far as the humor goes this week, but the big off-court story is watching this championship ring mishap unfold.
