Kyle Lowry goes utterly bonkers after Norm hits a shot

Of course, the Atlanta Hawks and Toronto Raptors game was much closer than anticipated. But, the shifty Hawks can pull off some high-level basketball when Trae Young is going bananas from the field and dishing out assists.

Meanwhile, the Raptors were abysmal from downtown throughout the game, which only added to the Hawks staying in the game.

Yet, when worse became worst, it was Norm Powell who started exceeding beyond expectations much to the delight of Lowry:

Even Lowry after wiping Powell’s jersey and slapping him around couldn’t hold back the laughs. For what it’s worth, it’s probably highly enjoyable to see Powell succeeding more often than not. The mercurial player has been given many fits from Nick Nurse, so having him become a more regular contributor is a wondrous sight to see.

Additionally, this newfound ability to shoot the ball had some believing that Fred VanVleet Jr. was putting in work for the Toronto Raptors again:

There’s likely no way to know what the good luck charm is, but given we now have Fred VanVleet in the Finals and Norm Powell from this current hot streak then it’s safe to say that we might as well not jinx it.

If nothing else, let’s make sure that FVV Jr. permanently has a spot on the plane, team bus, and whatever activities he needs. Let’s just hire OG Anunoby as his next daycare teacher to get him going again while we’re at it.
