Bench Grades

Shooting Guard. Toronto Raptors. PATRICK MCCAW. B-. Just when Raptor fans thought things couldn’t get any worse, this game forced them to sit through 43 minutes of McCaw. After Powell went down early, Nurse rolled with the polarizing wing for the majority of Monday’s game. McCaw finished with two points, six rebounds and three steals while missing all three of his attempts from long range. His shooting woes are a glaring issue, though, Nurse and his staff appear more than willing to overlook McCaw’s offensive limitations in the name of stability on the defensive side of things. Not what I’d do, but hey…

Shooting Guard. Toronto Raptors. TERENCE DAVIS. F. Another disappointing night for Davis who, frankly, had a road trip to forget, scoring a total of 19 points in five games. Returning home to Toronto should get the rookie’s game back on track.

Shooting Guard. Toronto Raptors. MATT THOMAS. B+. Thomas scored nine points in 12 minutes of action, the highlight of his night coming on a <a rel=

B-. Hollis-Jefferson failed to crack double-digit minutes in Toronto’s three previous games, but he saw 22 in Monday’s win. Fell two points shy of a double-double, finishing with eight points and ten rebounds. Considering he’d been held without a point in three straight games, this performance was several steps in the right direction for Hollis-Jefferson.. Power Forward. Toronto Raptors. RONDAE HOLLIS-JEFFERSON

Boucher played six minutes and finished with a block. He was -15 and failed to impact the game, which caused Nurse to keep Boucher on the bench in place of <a rel=. Power Forward. Toronto Raptors. CHRIS BOUCHER. D
