1. 2019 Championship Banner Raising (Oct 22, 2019)
At my number one spot, I have the greatest Toronto Raptors moment from the 2019-20 season, the championship banner raising and ring ceremony. Raptor fans couldn’t wait for this day to come for two reasons and it’s pretty obvious what they are.
For starters, it was the home opener and season opener for a brand new season for the defending NBA champions, Second of all… the Toronto Raptors got their championship rings and got to see their championship banner get lifted to the rafters in the Scotiabank Arena beside their 2019 Eastern Conference Champions banner and their Atlantic Division Champions banner.
This night was one to remember for sure as the Toronto Raptors got their rings, they got to see their banner rise to the rafters, they opened the season with a win, and ultimately basketball was back.
