Serge Ibaka

Toronto’s backup big man has easily been the best Raptor off of the bench this series, and in Game 2 was the only one to show up. Ibaka pitched in with a crucial 17 points and 9 rebounds on 7/12 shooting, and aside from a couple of mistakes brought a lot of energy to the team with a few blocks as well.

Realistically, it’s hard to expect much more from Serge Ibaka than what he gave you in game 2. The Raps are going to need Serge to replicate his game 2 performance or at least come close to it in game 3, especially if Gasol’s offensive output continues the way it’s been. Toronto’s going to have to get some sort of offence at the centre position, and that responsibility may have to fall on Ibaka’s shoulders again on Thursday night.
