No. 1: Toronto Raptors vs Los Angeles Lakers, April 9

Last October, the Lakers had won the NBA Championship by defeating the Miami Heat in Game Six of the NBA Finals. The score was 106-93. This was the Lakers’ 17th NBA championship.

They faced each other twice during the 2019-20 season. The Raptors beat the Lakers 113-104 in November, and Toronto took LA down once again 107-92 in the bubble. Kyle Lowry was the player of the game. During this Aug. 1, 2020 game, he finished with 33 points, 14 rebounds, and six assists.

Can the Raptors take on LeBron?

L. A. is trying to repeat as champions while Toronto is fighting to get in the playoffs. So, the April ninth game will different than last year because this is a different team. But they should be fun. Plus, it would the first time that the Raptors are facing their former teammate Marc Gasol. That’s another reason to check this game out.

Next. The Raptors are playing well against elite teams. dark
