3. Raptors beat Warriors by 53

The Raptors’ 53 point victory over the Golden State Warriors was the largest victory in franchise history. This was also one of the most unexpected results in franchise history. With a little under nine minutes left in the game, the Raptors were up by 60 points.

Warriors head coach Steve Kerr said the loss was “humiliating for everyone involved”. Stephen Curry and Draymond Green didn’t play in the game, but beatings like this don’t happen often in the NBA. The Raptors were so overpowering that Trent had the second-best plus/minus mark in a game in NBA history.

The Toronto Raptors obliterated the Warriors.

This 53 point victory could be a record that lasts a whilePascal Siakam scored 36 points in the game. Trent dropped 24 points and OG Anunoby added 21. The highest scorer for the Warriors was Andrew Wiggins with a puny 15 points.

This is the team, although Lowry didn’t play, that Raptors fans were hoping to see throughout this season. This was the best game of the season for the 2020-21 Raptors, and a sign that even without some of their key pieces healthy, Toronto can take on quality teams and come out not only as the victor, but as a decisive winner.
