1. Bismack Biyombo, Charlotte Hornets

We’ve all had that one ex before. They sweat that they’ve changed. You get fooled into thinking that they can come back into your life and fix your problems. Biyombo could be someone that returns to the Raptors with the promise of changing things, but he won’t move the needle much despite his rebounding.

Sure, Biyombo will help the Raptors fix their issues on the glass, and Biyombo will finish some dunks inside, but is he really going to be much of an upgrade over Aron Baynes? Biyombo is going to be the same offensive liability he was during his first stint with the Raptors.

The Toronto Raptors should stay away from Bismack Biyombo.

Biyombo was such a liability in Charlotte that he was a complete non-factor on offense. the tandem of him and Cody Zeller was so ineffective that the Hornets will almost certainly use the top pick they have been afforded in this draft on a center, kicking Biyombo to the curb like an unwanted puppy.

And that is the guy that the Raptors are going to add to replace Baynes if they don’t end up with Evan Mobley? He’ll be just as much of a liability, as five points per game are not going to move the needle.
