2. SG Eric Gordon

Gordon is still an effective player, but he is a bad fit on this roster. On a team that has deactivated John Wall to give Green and Kevin Porter Jr. some time, Gordon would be better served on a team that needs someone to knock down some 3-pointers to aid in a playoff chase.

Gordon is averaging 14.6 points per game. While his volume of 3-point attempts is going down, Gordon is making 44% of his 3-pointers, which is impressive even for someone like him. Does anyone really think that Svi Mykhailiuk would be a more productive bench scorer than Gordon?

Eric Gordon would be a solid backup for the Toronto Raptors.

The odds of Gordon finishing the season with the Rockets are minimal. Some playoff team will come calling with a fashionable package that will get the Rockets moved enough to officially make a deal. Toronto may need to act fast to beat other teams to the punch.

The Raptors have some concerning bench depth, and Gordon would instantly be the biggest impact name on that second unit. Gary Trent Jr. has done wonders for the starting lineup, and Gordon could have a similar impact if the Raptors figure out a way to bring him to town.
