1. SG Frank Jackson

Jackson, picked with the first selection of the second round in the 2017 NBA Draft, has been a quiet, consistent producer on some bad teams for the last four years. Jackson spent two years as a bench player in New Orleans before the 6-3 combo guard made the trip to Michigan.

Jackson is having his best season to date, averaging 10.9 points per game on 41% shooting. While he put up 9.8 points per game last year, Jackson made 45% of his shots and 40% of his 3-pointers. He could be an ideal shooter and ball-handler off of the bench for Toronto.

Frank Jackson would give the Toronto Raptors some shooting skill.

The Pistons are inexorably tied to Cunningham, and they seem interested in developing Hayes as an understudy. Capitalizing on Jackson’s impressive play and getting some premium assets from Toronto in exchange could help both teams in the short and long-term.

Detroit gets more picks for the rebuild and a potential depth piece to replace Jackson, while the Raptors would get someone with the shooting ability to take minutes away from Mykhailiuk and the ball-handling skills to potentially be the No. 2 point guard behind VanVleet.
