SG. Bennedict Mathurin. 10. player. 125. Scouting Report. Pick Analysis. Arizona

Mathurin was an intriguing prospect despite some concerns about his offense last year, but he’s worked hard to become an impact player on that side. A solid shooter that can take it to the rim, Mathurin is getting better every week.

With the logjam in the frontcourt and Cam Reddish’s contract situation, Mathurin could be a solid replacement. Trae Young will have tons of fun finding Mathruin open on the perimeter, as he could help the Hawks recapture the magic they had during the 2020-21 season.

Scouting Report. Duke. AJ Griffin. player. 86. Pick Analysis. PF/SF. 11

Drafting a player averaging 6.7 points per game No. 11 overall with major injury concerns seems risky, but Griffin’s athletic profile is so enticing that he should still go in this range despite all of those concerns. He could eventually start at power forward next to Karl-Anthony Towns.

Griffin has defensive end-esque size, is the son of an NBA assistant coach, and has a lethal 3-point shot. The young core in Minnesota is starting to gel, and Griffin could be a very intriguing role player that supports the heavy hitters in Towns and Anthony Edwards.

NBA Mock Draft: The Toronto Raptors could use TyTy Washington.

Pick Analysis. PG/SG. 12. player. Scouting Report. Kentucky. TyTy Washington. 81

The Raptors are close to running Fred VanVleet into the ground due to his heavy diet of minutes, meaning they should target a backup and sixth man over a center in the draft. Washington gives them the versatility of picking either a high-scoring off-ball guard or a steady point guard.

Washington continues to score and distribute against some of the best competition in college basketball. In a draft that lacks tons of amazing point guards, Washington converting to that spot full-time and working on his jumper could help seduce Toronto into taking him.
