149. Scouting Report. Pick Analysis. SG. MarJon Beauchamp. player. G League. 15

Beauchamp is not a very good shooter right now, and he could be a bit of an odd fit positionally given his shooting woes, but a 6-7 perimeter player with handles, strength, and hops won’t last long in the draft.

The Thunder got a center in Duren, and they could supplement their star backcourt by giving them a wing that comes off the bench and provides boundless energy. Beauchamp is raw, but his ceiling is as high as any G League prospect.

SF. Milwaukee. player. Scouting Report. Pick Analysis. 16. 86. Patrick Baldwin Jr.

The combination of the lackluster competition and his injuries has helped Baldwin slide down some draft boards. If Minnesota ends up drafting Baldwin here, it might be one of the biggest steals of the entire draft.

Baldwin is a legit 6-10 with a silky smooth jumper, handles, and solid post play. If he could team with defensive specialist Jarred Vanderbilt at the power forward spot, the Timberwolves could be a force in the West.

Pick Analysis. PG. Jean Montero. 17. 18. Scouting Report. Overtime Elite. player

Montero is a risk due to the fact he is playing in the mysterious Overtime Elite league. Is the level of competition going to prepare him for the NBA? If the Celtics feel comfortable with drafting a dynamic playmaker like Montero, he could be the long-term answer at point guard.

Dennis Schroder has been a disappointment for Boston, and the hole at point guard has taken a chunk out of Jayson Tatum and Jaylen Brown’s efficiency. Montero profiles as a bargain bin version of Ja Morant given his ability to attack the rim, handle the ball, and distribute.

NBA Mock Draft: Ochai Agbaji could help the Toronto Raptors.

Pick Analysis. SG. Ochai Agbaji. 81. Scouting Report. Kansas. 18. player

A four-year contributor at Kansas who is leading the Jayhawks in scoring this year, Agbaji is a quality 3-point shooter that could end up providing the exact boost to the bench Toronto has been missing this year.

The Raptors have the league’s worst bench, as Svi Mykhailiuk’s disappointing season created a huge hole. Agbaji has a 6-10 wingspan, which should be music to the ears of this front office.

Scouting Report. Pick Analysis. SG/SF. 19. player. 73. Duke. Trevor Keels

Denver has their star center in Nikola Jokic and Jamal Murray returning soon, but their wing depth has been thrown out of whack following the injury to Michael Porter Jr. Why not draft a Sixth Man like Keels?

Keels might not be a great shooter, but he’s built like a running back and can make some difficult shots when the situation calls for it. A defensive weapon that moves all around for the Blue Devils, Keels is what Denver needs right now.

SF/PF. Caleb Houstan. 20. player. Scouting Report. Michigan. 79. Pick Analysis

Luka Doncic and the Mavericks would get a ton of value if they take Houstan here. While Houstan, a high school teammate of Scottie Barnes and Cade Cunningham, has underwhelmed at Michigan, he should be taken in the first round.

Houstan profiles as a tremendous shooter that can handle the ball. Even with his defensive inconsistency, Dallas has enough standouts on that end to make up for Houstan’s shortcomings.
