Best: Sign Kent Bazemore on the buyout market

While Bazemore is still a member of the Los Angeles Lakers at the moment, either he or DeAndre Jordan will be cast aside and bought out if LeBron James wants to add a player on the open market. If you can look past his poor field goal percentage, Bazemore could appeal to this Raptors team.

Bazemore is connecting on 36% of his 3-point attempts this season, and he is just a year removed from nailing 41% of his 3-pointers on a playoff-bound Warriors team. While a smaller guard at 6-4 when compared to some of the specimens on the Raptors roster, Bazemore would be a huge shooting boost.

The Toronto Raptors could use Kent Bazemore.

Adding Bazemore is incumbent on the Lakers making one more signing that necessitates booting him out of town. If that becomes reality, Toronto could look to get someone who could provide the sniping that Svi Mykhailiuk has failed to produce.

Bazemore, a former college award winner for his defense who has been strong in that area throughout his NBA career, should fit right in on a Raptors team that is still in need of some reinforcement defenders on the wing. Rob Pelinka just needs to come through for the Raptors here.
