The Toronto Raptors have come away from a fearsome early schedule with a 2-2 record against four teams that everyone expected to be in the postseason. The latest Raptors odds, unfortunately, do not seem to think that Toronto’s run of good fortune will continue against a division foe.

The Philadelphia 76ers have been one of the most disappointing teams in the league to start the season, as they have started off 1-3 with some ugly losses on the ledge. Joel Embiid and James Harden have been their usual selves, but the results just have not been there.

Nick Nurse could be in a position to really stick it to a title contender in the division, as the Raptors will play both of their regular-season home games against Philly in the last few days. These two games should look like their recent playoff series in that it will be almost dead even and very hard-fought.

Will Toronto be able to move to 3-2 on the young season, sending Philly into an even deeper tailspin in the process? Are the 76ers going to get things back on track north of the border? In a division this tight, every win is going to matter.

Philadelphia 76ers vs. Toronto Raptors Odds, Spread, Over/Under

The latest odds from FanDuel Sportsbook have Philadelphia as -1.5 favorites against the spread, with this squad -108 (bet $108 to win $100) to cover. Philly is -118 on the moneyline, while Toronto checks in at +100 (bet $100 to win $100).

The over-under is 214, with the over and the under both at -110.

Raptors Injury Report

Scottie Barnes, who missed the win against Miami, has been ruled questionable. Otto Porter Jr. has been listed as doubtful, indicating he is closer to returning.

Toronto Raptors vs. Philadelphia 76ers Prediction

Toronto has developed a habit of having all their games come down to the wide, as Nick Nurse is going all out to secure wins just four games into the season. The 76ers are deadly, but they’ve shown that they can be tripped up by the right game plan.

Shooting well from the perimeter and figuring out a way to make Embiid as minimally involved as possible offensively are the two keys to victory. If Siakam and the rest of the team can do that, they should be able to hop back above .500 and start a two-game home winning streak.
