The Toronto Raptors have gone on a very schizophrenic West Coast road trip without OG Anunoby in the lineup. Promising wins against the Trail Blazers and Kings were followed up by a very tough loss against the Warriors and another fourth-quarter collapse against the Suns.

The Utah Jazz are next on the schedule. While they aren’t going to be a team that tears through the playoffs, they are led by expected All-Star reserve Lauri Markkanen and a surprisingly cohesive bunch of shooters that can help turn this team around in the near future.

It would help the Raptors’ much-maligned defense if they could get a player like Anunoby back into the fold. Even in what has been a very challenging season, Toronto has been able to witness OG be as good as ever on the defensive end.

Unfortunately, it looks like the Raptors may have to put their head down and suffer another Anunoby-less game ahead of the trade deadline.

OG Anunoby injury status tonight vs. Jazz

Anunoby is going to be out against Utah with a wrist injury, and he will also be on the bench for the entire West Coast trip, per Kayla Grey. Is there a chance we just saw Anunoby’s final game with the Raptors?

OG Anunoby injury history:

Anunoby has often struggled to stay healthy, as he hasn’t played more than 50 games in a season in three years. An appendectomy in 2018-19, a calf problem in the Tampa bubble, and a hip injury last year have all derailed him

Full Raptors injury report vs Jazz:

Anunoby is not going to suit up in this game, and the Raptors will also be without Otto Porter Jr. after the veteran sharpshooter was ruled out for the rest of the season with a foot injury.

Full Jazz injury report vs Raptors:

The Jazz are going to head into this game with a full deck of cards, as all of their big guns are ready to do. Two-way big man Micah Potter is out with an elbow ailment, but he was unlikely to factor into this game when healthy.

Raptors upcoming schedule and opponents:

The Raptors will conclude their West Coast trip against Memphis before starting their post-deadline life back in Toronto with games against the Spurs and Jazz.
