Raptors vs Grizzlies injury report for February 5: Is Dillon Brooks playing?
By Mike Luciano
While Fred VanVleet led the Toronto Raptors to a win against the Houston Rockets without OG Anunoby, the fact that they had to claw out a fourth-quarter victory against a team missing two of their three best players didn’t exactly inspire much confidence.
The Memphis Grizzlies, rumored to be hot on Anunoby’s trail in the trade market, are next on the schedule for Toronto. Considering the fact that they are at the top of the Western Conference, such aggression would make sense if they want to catch the Denver Nuggets.
The Grizzlies may not be going into this game with a full deck of cards, however. Many of their biggest names, including star wing Dillon Brooks, are not going to suit due to either injury concerns or punishment for past transgressions.
OG Anunoby injury status tonight vs. Grizzlies
Anunoby is going to be out against Memphis with a wrist injury, and he will also be on the bench for the entire West Coast trip, per Kayla Grey. Anunoby’s tenure with the Raptors could be coming to an end.
Is Dillon Brooks playing vs. Raptors?
Brooks was suspended for his role in an altercation with Cavaliers guard Donovan Mitchell. With how good Memphis has been and how uneven Toronto has looked, this team needs all the help they can get.

Brooks is out due to his suspension. Ja Morant and Jaren Jackson Jr, both of whom were named All-Stars recently, are questionable with wrist and thigh injuries, respectively.
Steven Adams is also out. The Raptors are apparently so bad that Memphis could rest their stars to get healthy against them.
