Raptors vs Pelicans injury report for February 23: Is OG Anunoby playing?
By Mike Luciano
The Toronto Raptors are officially back after their brief All-Star Game excursion, meaning that Nick Nurse, OG Anunoby, and the rest of the team will be under immediate pressure to perform and win immediately. Failure to do so would be an embarrassing showing.
Brandon Ingram and CJ McCollum are trying their best to stop the bleeding with Zion Williamson out of commission, but the New Orleans Pelicans have fallen far down the NBA standings after their mercurial No. 1 overall pick went down with an injury.
However, the Pelicans have shown that they have all the necessary bells and whistles needed to slice up the Raptors without breaking so much as a sweat. Willie Green has this very deep team playing well (most of the time, anyway).
Even though the All-Star reprieve helped both of these teams get healthier than they would have been, neither of them will go into this game with their full loadout of stars ready to go. As such, the Raptors might be able to snatch a win away from New Orleans.
OG Anunoby injury status tonight vs. Pelicans
Anunoby is likely going to play against the Pelicans, even though he is officially designated as questionable due to a wrist injury that sidelined him for the better part of a month.
Is Zion Williamson playing vs. Raptors?
Williamson suffered another setback in his hamstring recovery and is going to sit this game out. We may not see Williamson for weeks as a result of this injury.

Williamson is not going to play, but No. 8 overall pick Dyson Daniels likely will. The Australian point guard and one-time Raptors trade fantasy is listed as probable despite an ankle injury. Larry Nance Jr. is also probable with a groin problem.
