Gary Trent Jr. and the Toronto Raptors have officially locked themselves into the play-in tournament, which could give them a shot at sneaking into the postseason. These next three games will determine the club’s final position.

Fresh off taking down the Charlotte Hornets on the back of Fred VanVleet’s franchise record 20 assists, Toronto will try to do it again. While the odds of jumping over the Miami Heat and getting the No. 7 seed are slim, they could still pass the Atlanta Hawks at seed No. 8.

Toronto will need to take care of business against Charlotte before two extremely important games against Boston are up on the schedule. Will they have their full selection of players?

Trent is officially listed as questionable for this game due to a back injury. With OG Anunoby also likely day-to-day with his ankle problem, the Raptors may not have their full arsenal of players in this pivotal matchup with Charlotte.

Ball is one of many Hornets that will not suit up for this game. Charlotte has already locked itself into the No. 4 spot in the NBA Draft order, so there is no tangible benefit that could come with

A whopping seven players, including Terry Rozier, Gordon Hayward, PJ Washington, and Kelly Oubre, are all sitting this game out for the Hornets. Cody Martin is out, Dennis Smith Jr. is questionable, and Mark Williams is probable.

Toronto will get the taxi squad in this game, but that same group put up quite the fight against them in their first contest.
