2. Turnovers

While the Bulls have done a solid job (for the most part) of limiting turnovers on the offensive end, they committed a preposterous 36 turnovers in the two games they lost to Toronto this season. The Raptors have faults, but their length has proven to be problematic for Chicago this season.

The Raptors commit the fewest turnovers in the league and force the second most, giving them, the best turnover differential in the game by a substantial margin. Toronto’s philosophy leaves them weak in certain areas, like defending on the perimeter, but Chicago’s lack of shooting will embolden that attack.

The Toronto Raptors could force tons of turnovers.

With Chicago lacking the array of knockdown shooters to take advantage of the overaggression Toronto puts on display on the defensive end, this will allow Toronto to set the tone and pace of how things are going to run.

While the Raptors haven’t executed their game plan as often as they did last year, oftentimes due to bad roster construction, it is still a thing of beauty when all of the switches manage to get flicked correctly at the right time. The Bulls are a team that could fall pretty to Toronto’s style.
