2. SF Cedi Osman

Osman scored over 10 points per game in four consecutive seasons, proving that he can be a worthwhile scorer in this league with some solid efficiency. If he needs to be jettisoned, the Raptors could make for a very interesting landing spot for someone with his talents.

His downturn in scoring can be explained as the product of playing on a team that had to make sure Mitchell and Darius Garland got all the shots they needed. If the Cavs want to tinker and Osman is eyeing a fresh start, his skills will be welcomed by the shooting-needy Raptors.

Will Cedi Osman help the Toronto Raptors?

Osman has shot over 36% from 3-point range in three of the last four seasons. While the defense is a bit problematic, Toronto has a sound enough defensive infrastructure to overcome one below-average player in the system. Toronto might miss out on a quality tertiary scorer if they remain picky and inactive.

Still just 28 years old, there is reason to believe that the best years of Osman’s career are still to come. Getting a Raptors killer who has performed well against Toronto in his career off Cleveland might inadvertently help the Raptors when they have to lock horns with their rival in Ohio.
