1. Brice Sensabaugh, SF, Ohio State

Sensabuagh is the most Masai Ujiri draft pick that has ever come into the league. While he likely won’t be as good as OG Anunoby on his rookie contract, he does have many of the skills that made OG such an enticing prospect. At 6-6 and 235 pounds, Sensabaugh has shown he can defend four positions with some degree of success.

Sensabaugh stans will point to his per 36-minute numbers as evidence of his offensive skill, as he led the Buckeyes in scoring despite playing just 24 minutes per game. After making over 40% of his 3-pointers, Sensabuagh’s stock has only risen lately.

Brice Sensabaugh looks ideal for the Toronto Raptors.

The “jack of all trades, master of none” axiom might apply to Sensabuagh in the eyes of the pessimists, as his 3-point shooting is the only trait that looks like it will be a plus at the professional level right out of the gate. While he may not need G League time, he could be brought along slowly.

If Sensabaugh can keep hitting 3-pointers and growing his offensive game, why couldn’t he average double digits as a rookie? Nick Nurse might be gone, but Ujiri’s emphasis on playing the young guys could lead to him getting a very expansive role early on.
