The Toronto Raptors have managed to take home a 3-4 start to the 2023-24 season, as Scottie Barnes kept this season on the rails by leading an insane comeback against the San Antonio Spurs. Will that mojo continue against Luka Doncic, Kyrie Irving, and the Dallas Mavericks?

While the Mavericks have an impressive 6-1 record and an offense averaging 120 points per game, Jason Kidd’s squad has had to claw for some tight victories due to a defense that is still lacking in many key areas. The Raps might be able to exploit such a porous unit.

Toronto could benefit, in theory, from playing a Dallas squad that doesn’t have depth and may not have both of their stars at 100% all the time due to their past injury history. Unfortunately, it looks like both of the Mavs’ superstars will be suiting up for this one.

Kyrie Irving Injury Status for tonight’s Raptors vs. Mavericks game

Irving has sat out a few games due to a foot sprain, but he does not have an official designation on the Dallas injury report for this game. Dennis Schroder and OG Anunoby will have their hands full trying to slow down both Irving and Luka Doncic in this contest.

Precious Achiuwa Injury Status for tonight’s Raptors vs. Mavericks game

After missing four straight games due to a nagging groin injury, all signs point to Achiuwa getting off the mend and rejoining the Toronto rotation. His usual blend of athleticism, defense, and chaos has been on full display when he has played, and that has been missed when he wasn’t in the lineup.
