The Toronto Raptors trade rumors are as fervent as they have ever been, with names like OG Anunoby and Pascal Siakam being mentioned by rival fanbases as top targets. Given their production in some adverse circumstances, it's easy to see why these two have so many teams trying to get some sort of deal done.

The Sacramento Kings have been linked to a trade with the Raptors for quite some time, as they could use a third star alongside De'Aaron Fox and Domantas Sabonis. The Raptors are eyeing a trade for Keegan Murray, but Monte McNair may not be too receptive to such a bold idea.

While Anunoby might be regarded as a tremendous piece that could make any number of contenders much more viable when the postseason lights require more individual defensive excellence, the Kings do not seem willing to hand over so many solid assets for someone who might not stick around.

According to Sam Amick of The Athletic, Anunoby is not viewed as being "of significant interest" to the Kings. Even their chances of getting Siakam have fallen off, due to both their unwillingness to move Murray and the financial situation these players would put the club in.

NBA rumors: Kings not interested in Pascal Siakam trade.

Amick reported that Sacramento seems unwilling to give Toronto a huge trade package for two players who are impending free agents who could leave in the offseason. The Kings may step up their pursuit in the next few offseasons, where the Raptors could lose both of them in free agency.

Ujiri has developed a reputation for being incredibly stubborn when it comes to trade packages, as he won't move any of his players until he believes a team is willing to meet his valuation for one of his best names. This has led to months of inactivity surrounding both Anunoby and Siakam.

Given what he means to this team and the fact his value won't be too high ahead of his free agency, Anunoby might be less likely to be moved than Siakam. That doesn't mean the front office is going to eschew any trades, as someone could always overpay to secure him out of desperation.

Unfortunately for Raptors fans who want to turn the page on this era and start building around Scottie Barnes, one team that might give the team a hypothetical haul is going to flake away after balking at some of Toronto's demands.
