In case you missed it when the news first broke, the Toronto Raptors are heading to Vancouver to face the Denver Nuggets in an NBA Canada Series game on October 6.

Sure, it's preseason play so there isn't really high-stakes on the line or anything like that per se, but as a recent graphic courtesy of the official Raptors page on X would suggest, Toronto has built quite the legacy in all their visits to Vancouver.

The Toronto Raptors boast a perfect 6-0 record in Vancouver since 2010 and aim to keep it alive for their seventh appearance, returning for the first time since 2023.

Raptors undefeated in Vancouver — can they keep the streak alive?

  • Oct 6, 2010: Toronto Raptors defeat San Antonio Spurs in a blowout 129-78 win.
  • Oct 4, 2014: Toronto Raptors defeat Sacramento Kings in close 99-94 victory.
  • Oct 4, 2015: Toronto Raptors defeat Los Angeles Clippers in a blowout 93-73 win.
  • Oct 1, 2016: Toronto Raptors defeat Golden State Warriors in a close 97-93 victory.
  • Sep 29, 2018: Toronto Raptors defeat Portland Trail Blazers in 122-104 win.
  • Oct 8, 2023: Toronto Raptors defeat Sacramento Kings in 112-99 win.

Now, this undefeated record in Vancouver strictly pertains to the Raptors' preseason series games, as the team fell to the former Vancouver Grizzlies franchise in away games back in 1997 and 1998. Regardless, it’s clear that Toronto has been able to put it all together in these games during visiting campaigns on the opposite end of Canada.

Unfortunately for fans still looking to purchase a seat for this fast approaching event, it appears on Ticketmaster that the only remaining face value tickets are in the floor section, which will require a buyer to shell out thousands of CAD dollars.

In light of this, a few unhappy fans shared their thoughts in the Raptors X post thread, but it’s important to note that these tickets sold out quickly after going on sale on August 27, so it’s understandable that the only seats left are the absurdly priced ones.
