WASHINGTON, DC – APRIL 27: Head Coach Dwane Casey of the Toronto Raptors /

What is one change you want the Raptors to make this offseason?

Jordan Skuse: Maybe a name change – does LeBron just hate dinosaurs, or what? The ability for them to make drastic changes is limited due to contracts. But I do believe it may be time to move on from Casey (which is CRAZY given he may yet win COTY and everything else he’s done in the regular season). I just believe the team has peaked under him and a new voice (potentially Nurse or Stackhouse) could lead to something larger, especially come playoff time. The time has come to not care about regular-season dealings…

Go Paolo: There’s not a lot the Raptors can do. DeMar DeRozan and Serge Ibaka are virtually unmovable thanks to their porous playoff performances plus their huge contracts. Firing Casey could be a huge mistake especially when it’s hard to think of a coach who can do better than he did. At best the Raptors can look to add smaller pieces particularly someone who will bring a tough veteran locker room presence.

Mike Bossetti: A part, or parts, of the veteran core must go. The Raptors aren’t good enough as presently constructed, and even with a potential LeBron departure, the East will only be improving. Luckily for the Raptors, Toronto has built a nice young roster on the side while competing each season. It may be time to focus the Raptors’ attention to the latter timeline, starting by trading one of Kyle Lowry, DeMar DeRozan, or Jonas Valanciunas. (Serge Ibaka too, but that contract will be difficult).
